An introduction to reporting and writing class that focused on story generation, shooting and editing broadcast stories, writing Web stories, using visual components of still pictures and video.

In the first field assignment, the instructions were to create a web story based on a local issue or event. I chose to write about a new student housing development and the impact it would have on the University of South Carolina's housing crisis.
FA2
The second field assignment is an audio package derived from FA1. Using the same information and materials, we were to create an audio version of our story, adapted for a listening audience.
FA3
For the third and final field assignment, a classmate and I worked together to create a visual story for the viewing audience. We selected the Wild Lights and the Riverbanks Zoo as our event to cover.
